Can someone please explain to me what is up with Germans and windows? Windows are opened all the time in the winter to let fresh air in. Yet when it's hot outside, windows are closed to avoid drafts.
My colleagues just had the brilliant idea to close all the windows in our office. So now we get to sit in a glass oven with no air circulation or wind from outside. The air inside the office is already hotter than it is outside, yet it's somehow better to close the windows. Am I missing some sort of physics (or would it be meteorological?) phenomenon? Maybe they also like to sit in hot cars in the summer.
/whining rant
(for real this time)

This would as well be my Dutch mother-in-law. It's "drafty" in the summer, yet the best idea to open the windows in the winter to let in the fresh air.
I've got your blog saved to my favorites. Thanks for stopping by and sharing a comment on mine as well! :)
