Football Fever

Yesterday was the big game between Germany and Turkey. I knew it would be a loud night, regardless of the outcome. Like a good football fan, I was asleep before halftime, only to be awoken by the screams of the entire city of Aachen. The screams were soon joined by the honking of car horns, both of which continued until well past midnight.

The best part of all this football madness: one of the German players is named Schweinsteiger, which rougly translates to "pig mounter" (snicker, giggle, snicker).
